It’s an addiction, but hey it’s better than being addicted to drugs right? I may have ordered a couple of things from MAC online, just a couple this month.. I promise.

Eyeshadows (£10 each for refillable pan, maccosmetics.co.uk)
Haux – This is a satin finish eyeshadow described as soft muted rosy brown. On first impressions this shadow swatches very smoothly and has a matte, rather than satin finish. This may translate more towards the satin look on the eye. I can see this becoming one of my staple colours for washing all over the lid and underneath the waterline for a smoky look with lashings of mascara and eyeliner.
Nylon – a staple highlight colour for everyones collection. Nylon is a frost shadow which is pale gold with icy shimmer. This is perfect for using as an inner highlight and under the brow bone. It’s also a great shadow to use as a highlight for the face if you want something intense.

Fix + (£17, maccosmetics.co.uk)
This should be in everyone’s collection! I’ve tried high street versions of the ‘setting sprays’ and don’t get me wrong they aren’t terrible, but nothing matches up to the quality of this! Not only can it be used as a setting spray to fix all your make-up into place making it less cakey, you can also use it to bump up the intensity of power products. Simply spray your brush with fix + and then pick the product up and apply, you will be amazed!

Fluidline in Blacktrack (£16, maccosmetics.co.uk)
The past few months I’ve not been using gel liner, preferring either no liner or a liquid/kohl look. However, I’ve been craving doing different techniques with gel liner, and as the one’s in my collection have gone way past their ‘best before date’ I thought I’d best buy another. This is a true black eyeliner, obvious I know, but sometimes eyeliners do not come out fully black. It goes on opaque and stays in place all day.

Free Sample – Skin Base Visage (Full size, £21, maccosmetics.co.uk)
This is a silicone based primer. I’m going to try it at some point this week to see how my make up holds up, but on first impressions from placing it on the back of my hand it’s definitely given the skin a smooth base which will be great for applying make up over the top of. I’m looking forward to getting back to you on this one!
