How to be a Bronzed Goddess – My favourite bronzing products

Summer is fast approaching so I thought I’d let you in on my top products to give myself the ‘bronze goddess’ vibe without actually hitting the beach.

Benefit’s Dew the Hoola (£22.50, benefitcosmetics.com)
I only have a travel size of this product which was purchased for me as a gift in a Hoola gift set, however I have fallen in love with this soft matte liquid bronzer. I love to put this where I want the bronzed look, so essentially where I would naturally tan – forehead, top of the cheeks, chin and bridge of the nose. As it is a liquid product it has a gorgeous ‘dew’y look, see what they did there, which gives that natural look. If I am having a good skin day I have used this alone to bronze up the face and provide a base before adding lashes of mascara, brows and a bright lip and it looked stunning!

Make Up Revolution Blush Palette – Golden Sugar – (£6, Superdrug)
This blush palette is great for a bronzed look. You have highlighters, blushes and bronzers all in one. I use the bronzers most from this palette as shown below. I love these three shades because you have number 1, which is a slightly rosy bronzer shimmer which is great used as a blush. Number 2, my favourite, a gorgeous bronzer for all over with a golden shimmer. And finally number 3, which is a matte mid-toned bronzer, perfect for building up the bronze!

L’Oreal Glam Bronze Terra – (£12.99, Boots)
My go-to for a bronzed look. I use this on the daily. It’s a huge warm toned, probably why it’s called terra, bronzer with a gorgeous slight golden shimmer running through it. This is perfect for just throwing on to bronzed up the face and can be built up to get a more intense bronze. I also love to use this as an eyeshadow all over as well as on the body when I need that extra bit of bronze.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer – (£23.50, benefitcosmetics.com)
This is an essential matte bronzer which isn’t too warm toned, this makes it perfect not only for adding extra sun-kissed bronze to the face but also to contour. I like to layer this underneath my L’Oreal bronzer for when I want a deeper less warm toned look. Again this is from my gift set so this is only a travel size, which is actually really handy to pop into my make up bag!

Rosie for Autograph Cream Blush – Camisole – (£14, Marks & Spencers)
Whenever I want a super bronzed look I always reach for a warm toned deep blush. This cream blush from Rosie Huntington Whitely’s collection is just perfect for this! It’s got that reddy-bronze tone which makes you look like you’ve kinda been sunburnt but in a sexy way. The cream is very highly pigmented and is great for a dewy natural flush.

MAC Pro Longwear Blush – Make You Mine – (£20.50, maccosmetics.co.uk)
Dirty salmon. That’s how MAC describe this and I actually couldn’t agree more. It is an orange-red matte blush perfect for a sun-kissed look. It’s perfect for creating the ‘sunburnt’ look as explained above and perfect for layering over the Rosie Cream Blush if you want a super long wearing look.

What’s on my bronze goddess wishlist?
There’s always something we want let’s be honest and I am no exception to the rule. These are a couple of products I can’t wait to get my hands on.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Give Me Sun! (£24, maccosmetics.co.uk)
NARS Multiple in South Beach (£29, narscosmetics.co.uk)
TooFaced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer (£23, toofaced.com)

What are your favourite bronzing products? I would love to know!
