Revlon, Revlon, Revlon. My high-street lipstick favourite. And this shade, Pink Pout, is possibly my favourite lipstick of ALL time. Yes, you heard it here first.

Pink Pout is from Revlon’s Super Lustrous range of lipsticks (£7.49, Boots) and is a matte finish. It’s a gorgeous shade of nude baby pink with a hint of purple undertones which make it perfect for me, as I love cool toned pinks.

The matte formula of this lipstick is not drying but is infact moisturising on the lips. This does mean that it doesn’t last as long as other matte lip products would, but that’s not a big deal to me. The creamy texture also means the lipstick applies like a dream and it is very highly pigmented from just one swipe.

The packaging is simple but does the job, typical of a Revlon lipstick and there isn’t really a noticeable scent to the product either.

It’s the perfect colour to wear with either natural or glam, smokey make up looks and is my go-to lipstick on most occasions. If I’m having one of those days where I’m unsure what lipstick to put on this is the one I tend to reach for.I imagine, it is very similar to MAC’s Snob lipstick, which is also a cool toned pink shade, a lipstick which is currently on my want list. So who knows, there may be a comparison coming up soon!
