It’s my little treat to myself every 3 weeks. Forgetting the routines of day to day life and spending an hour and a half being pampered and talking all things beauty. What could be better?

I’m not going to lie, I went in with every intention of having nude nails with a glitter accent nail. But when looking at the hundreds of colours available it seems ridiculous to not go with a bright crazy colour you’ve never seen before.

The colour I chose this time was ‘Brights Have More Fun’ a gorgeous coral based neon pink. I showed it to my nail tech who immediately said, “oooo we can do a gorgeous marble effect nail”. I was sold.For those wondering, the way she did the ‘marble effect’ nail was simply by putting down a white base and setting it. Once set she wiped the nail with acetone to get a non stick base and started to put different colours of sharpie on the nail. Once she had done this she then took a nail art brush dipped into acetone which caused the sharpie colours to bleed into each other. She then put a top coat over so the design set. Pretty cool huh?

I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next time.
