There’s nothing that I love more than a multi-use product and this eye shadow goes one better than that. Just like a chameleon it completely changes the look of any shadow you place beneath it and it’s AMAZING.
The shadow in name is Cameleon Soleil Levant from L’oreal (£2.99, Amazon). When I first saw it I thought it would be an interesting colour to place on the inner corner of a neutral based make up look to give an edge. It wasn’t until I had actually bought the colour I realised it’s potential.
Now, I have always loved duochrome finishes to eyeshadows, I’m currently eyeing up the Make Up Geek shadows. It wasn’t until I started playing with this shadow I realised it had the potential to make other shadows duochrome as it’s not fully opaque and has the same gorgeous shimmer metallic look about it even though the texture of this shadow is literally so creamy, it’s like butter.
I have demonstrated some of the different colours you can get from this shadow by placing it over brown, black and white. However the options are endless, you could put it over green, red or even a navy blue. It’s so versatile and a great way to bump up your look.It also looks great if placed on the centre of the moving lid as a pop of the same effect. Just £2.99 for so many different possibilities, you’d be stupid not to venture into the world of the cameleon shadows from L’oreal.

Would normally write of sheer eyeshadows but this one adds such a pretty sheen layered over the other colours! Reminds me of a mermaids tail!

I use my Topshop Wax ‘n’ Wane the same way, I love it! (A bit more expensive at £9 though, oops.)
