So recently I told you I purchased a couple of lipsticks from the Boots exclusive range SEVENTEEN Stay Pout range. Which are moistursing yet long wearing kiss proof lipsticks, but are they really?

Unfortunately the last colour which I reviewed Going Steady – see the blog post here – didn’t live up to it’s name. However as I have two colours I thought it could just be down to that particular colour, or maybe I’ve picked up a dud. So today we’ll be reviewing the colour Kiss Me Quick, which is a mid-toned cool pink (£4.49, Boots).

Similarly to Going Steady, the lipstick has a chemically unpleasant smell to it, which reminds me of cheap lipsticks I used to own when I was younger. The application is smoother than the nude, it doesn’t seem to cling to any patches on my lips and is rather opaque with just a couple of swipes.

It seems a lot more matte than the nude colour was, which I much prefer and it feels comfortable on the lips. So, does it last? No, not really. It does kiss off which it claims to not, and that’s only from kissing the back of my hand. It comes off when eating or drinking and it does wear off throughout the day. However, probably due to the colour it doesn’t look as unsightly as the previous colour did.

Overall, I much prefer this colour, Kiss Me Quick, however I very much doubt I’ll be reaching for it anytime soon. Personally unless you’re very attracted to one of the colours from this range and can’t find anything similar I would give them a miss.
