Goodluck Trolls x MAC – Beauty Powder

When I was shopping on MAC recently I was looking at the beauty powders which are essentially a setting powder with slight iridescence to them, think Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders. As a dry skinned gal, I tend to set under my eyes and do a very very light coat of translucent powder over my face using a duo-fibre brush for as little coverage as possible.

The beauty powder is described as ‘A silky-soft powder that’s delicately tinted and luxuriously pearlized’, essentially it’s a luminous lightweight powder. Which sounds perfect for me.

Then I noticed you could get the beauty powders in the limited edition Troll packaging and honestly I couldn’t resist as I thought it will be brilliant to carry around in my bag with me. I can’t wait to see everybodies faces when I get it out on my lunch at work.

Who else used to love troll as a kid? I don’t know what it was about them, because if you think about it, they had ugly faces and a sticky out belly button with a massive mohawk, but whatever it was about they, they were fab!

As you can see from the swatches the powder in Glo Rida (£24, MAC Cosmetics) which is ‘beige’ is the lightest of coverage and will be great for lightly dusting over the face to set my base. And I may even try wetting the product to see if it comes out as a subtle highlight either way I can’t wait to use it and will be sure to keep you updated.

Have you got any lightweight luminous powder recommendations?
