Vibrant Coral Lips – Kate Moss for Rimmel

I’m getting ever more excited about the prospect of the Spring season. With Spring comes a more fresh faced look with a huge emphasis on lips, well at least for me anyway. One of my favourite Spring shades is from the high street and today I’m going to share it’s gorgeous self with you.

The lipstick in question is Kate Moss for Rimmel Stay Matte lipstick in Vibrant Coral 110 (£5.49, Superdrug). It’s perfect to wear with dewy, fresh simple makeup to give the look a pop of colour. The coral shade seems to brighten the face and give you a healthy radiance. I also think this shade is perfect for any skin tone, be it fair or deep.

Now the lipstick is in the Stay Matte range, however as you can see from my swatches it’s more of a creamy matte finish. The colour will stain your lips, meaning it does stick around for quite some time but unfortunately I do find that throughout the day it becomes patchy and in dire need of reapplying. A plus side though it that it doesn’t dry out the lips.

The smell of this lipstick isn’t my favourite. It has a weird fruity ‘lipstick’ scent and anyone who’s used Rimmel lipsticks before will know what scent I’m refering too.

The lipstick itself is very smooth and pigmented, you only need to apply one coat to get the true colour and if you want a bolder look you can then add another layer. Although smooth I do find that if I have any dry patches on the lips it does tend to cling, so be warned.

Overall, I absolutely adore the colour of this lipstick and although it isn’t long lasting and needs to be reapplied throughout the day – it’s truly stunning. I have no other lip colour in my collection quite like it, it truly is unique.

Love, always.
