The Best Budget Buy Nude Lipstick in Town?!

There’s nothing better than a nude lipstick and as the summer starts coming round I find my nudes becoming lighter and pinker.

I was in Superdrug and I found myself, completely unexpectedly, looking at everything the Makeup Revolution stand had to offer. I saw these gorgeous rose gold packaged lipsticks in a bunch of different nudes and before I knew it, one was in my hand ready to be purchased at the till.

There’s a nude for everyone in this range of Iconic Mattes! I went for the light pink nude called Exposed (£3, Superdrug), but did have to convince myself that buying one in every colour wasn’t completely necessary.

The texture of these lipsticks is a creamy matte with a satin matte finish. When on the lips it’s not drying but it will cling to any dry patches, so be warned.

The lipstick is high in pigment and although it doesn’t claim to be long lasting, it does last well on the lips when eating and drinking. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t stay perfect. After a couple of hours of wear mine had come off especially round the edges of my lips, but if you take a finger and blend the lipstick in like a chapstick, it’s just as it was when first applied.

Overall this lipstick is absolutely brilliant for the price tag, I mean who can complain for £3! There’s a nude to suit everyone in this collection and if you can afford to, why not get them all!

Love, always.
