Since YouTuber Tanya Burr released her first lip glosses a couple of years ago, she’s transformed her brand into one of the most sought after lines. She really brings out products that she believes in and it shows as the line flows and works together so beautifully.
Personally, I love Tanya Burr Cosmetics as it’s natural makeup for real-life. There’s no crazy colours or instagram baddie inspired lip colours or eyeliner. It’s the perfect day to night makeup line with colours to suit everyone and products such as contour and highlighter sticks which are pigmented yet subtle. They define Tanya herself in her natural, pretty style with a bit of an edge.
I was very kindly gifted a gorgeous new lipstick from Tanya’s range – I’m always raving about the one that I have – Pink Cocoa (Is it All About The Pink Cocoa? Tanya Burr Lipstick Review) and it’s obviously paid off as my best friend kindly bought me another for my birthday.
The colour I received is Sunday Walk and it’s a gorgeous pink toned nude. Much like Pink Cocoa the lipstick is highly pigmented without being heavy on the lips. It gives off a natural look with a satin, moisturising finish which stays on the lips well throughout the day, minus when you’ve been eating or drinking. As a lipstick though, this is to be expected.
When looking at both Sunday Walk and Pink Cocoa in the bullets they look very similar but with different undertones, so due to this I did a comparison swatch on my arm. As you can see, they’re opposite sides of the nude scale.
If you want to grab this Sunday Walk lipstick from Tanya Burr Cosmetics yourself, it’s £6.99 from Superdrug – I would highly highly recommend.
