Jamie Genevieve Makeup TUT

I’m going to go ahead and put it out there.. I bloody love Jamie Genevieve.

Since I discovered her about a year ago, I was not only blown away by her beauty but also the true talent that she has within her makeup artistry.

I was watching her video titled ‘My Go-To Gorj‘ and completely fell in love with the subtle smokey eye and super bronzed skin, so I decided to give it a go replacing products that she used which I didn’t have with what I did.

I also thought this would make a good blog post.. recreating YouTube make up tutorials to see how they came out and I’m thinking this could become a bit of a mini-series.

I’ve posted a screenshot of Jamie’s look below before my own. I’d love to know what you think along with any other tutorials you’d like me to have a go at.

Applied with the Real Techniques Sculpting brush (£9.99, Superdrug) to deepen the contour

Freedom Pro Highlight palette (£6, Superdrug)
The top right hand champagne cream shade applied with the fingers to the cheeks, centre of nose, above the eyebrows and top of the lip.
Then applying the bottom champagne powder highlight over the cream using the Morphe Fan Brush from the 12 piece set (£14, Beauty Bay)

Applied with the ZOEVA Brow Line brush (£8, Beauty Bay)

Chloe Morello Pretty, Fun & Fearless palette (£39, Ciate)
Applying the shade My Tribe all over the lid and brow bone using the Spectrum Large Fluffy Shader brush (£5, Beauty Bay)
Taking the same brush with the shade Unconditional – blending this shade into the crease as well as into the inner corner of the brow. I also blended this shade under the eye
Then taking the shade On Fire to deepen the outer crease further
Finally taking the shade Vacay onto the Storybook Cosmetics Small Pointed brush from the Wizard Wands set ($55, Storybook Cosmetics) to highlight the inner corner

3ina Mascara Definition Waterproof (£8.50, ASOS)
Applied to both the upper and lower lashes

L I P S

Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lipliner in Tiramisu (£2.99, Boots)

Bourjois Rouge Velvet Lipstick in Hey Nude (£8.99, Boots)
Using the finger to blend the lipstick and lipliner together and ensure no defined edges
