Following on from last weeks ‘Jamie G Makeup Tut’ I decided to take inspiration from the gorgeous Carli Bybel.

I’ve been following Carli on her YouTube channel for around 4 years and I’ve loved following her vegan journey – she’s really doing great.

Alongside this, she draws amazing positivity in all of her videos. She’s a very inspirational woman and she’s so beautiful inside and out.

She recently did a full coverage base tutorial for those with oily skin. The simple eyes and orange-y red lip she was wearing in this video drew me in like a moth to a flame.

It completely inspired me to wear a red lip that day and so I decided to recreate this for you with my own products – and for someone with normal/dry skin.

Applied to contour the cheeks, forehead, lower lip and nose
Blended in with Real Techniques Stippling brush (£11.99, Boots)

NYX HD Concealer in 3.5 (£6, ASOS)
Applied down the sides of the nose contour and under the eyes
Blended in with the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder (£5, Superdrug)
Applied heavily under the eyes, below the contour on the cheeks and on the chin with the Real Techniques Sponge.. then move onto brows

Wipe away the Makeup Revolution Banana Powder with a large duo fibre brush

Spray the face 5-6 times more with the B. Hyaluronic Acid Spritz to settle and blend the powder in

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Give Me Sun! (£24.50, MAC Cosmetics)
Applied as both bronzer with a Models Own Blush brush from the On The Go set (£14.99, Models Own) and to go over the nose contour with the small shaped brush from the Morphe 12 Piece Sable set (£14, Beauty Bay)

E Y E S

Still using MAC Give Me Sun!
Apply this to the crease of the eyes using the Spectrum Large Fluffy Shader brush (£5, Beauty Bay)

NYX Vinyl Liquid Liner in Black (£6, Boots) to create slight wing

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette in Birthday Suit (£5.99, Superdrug)
Applying the shade Toast into the crease to deepen further with the same Spectrum brush
Then taking Soft Truffle on the ZOEVA Smoky Shader (£9, Beauty Bay) and applying this to the corner of the eye and then half way under the eye to connect with the liquid liner.
With the same brush, taking Cocoa Sugar and applying this to the inner half of the lower lash line.
Finally, going back in with Toast and the Spectrum brush to create a more diffused lower lash line.
