I was a very lucky girl this Christmas. My best friend, Chazz, who knows me all too well, got me this amazing liquid lipstick set from Stila.

Now, I don’t have that many products from Stila – but the ones that I do have, I absolutely love! So I was super excited to try out these super cute lippies from the Warm & Fuzzy set (£20, Beauty Bay).

In the set you get three 1.5ml Stay All Day liquid lipsticks. They’re a great size for popping in your handbag and they’re not too mini that you won’t get a good use out of them all. Two are part of the iconic matte collection and the third is a new shimmer liquid lipstick that isn’t launching till Spring 2018!

So let’s talk about the shades;

The iconic matte shades you get in the collection are Caramello – a neutral nude and Beso – a true red.

The shimmer shade is Splendore Shimmer – a warm coral with gold shimmer.

All the shades are highly pigmented, giving true opaque colour within one swipe. The product itself is creamy to put on and doesn’t dry the lips out throughout wear.

The product claims that it has upto 6 hours wear – this is something that I appreciate from Stila. They’re not claiming to have a super long wear product, but one that last a hell of a long time – and they’re no lying.

I wore Splendore Shimmer through the day after completing these swatches and must say it lasted well. I ate, drank and did a lot of talking – as expected, any oils within the food did break down the lipstick but it wore off well. Not becoming patchy or clumped up throughout wear.

It didn’t bleed over the lip line and neither did it transfer once it’d dried down matte after application – which took about two minutes.

There’s a scent to the product, which I’m unable to explain – it’s not overly noticeable or super sweet but pleasant all the same.

I’m really impressed with these liquid lipsticks, they’ve got a great formula and looking at the full size versions – there’s plenty of different colours and finishes to choose from – I’m definitely in the market for more.
