Lashes, lashes, lashes. They’re something that I only wear on the odd occasion, mainly because I’m rubbish at applying them, but when I do I absolutely love the look that they give me. As someone who already has quite long lashes – I am blessed and I can’t complain. I just love the more wispy, volumised look they give to the eye.
When I was approached by FalseEyelashes.co.uk, I was very intrigued. Not only were there so many different lashes to choose from, but they were so reasonably priced that I couldn’t believe my luck!
I’m very lucky to have been sent two pairs of lashes for review and a big shout out to Jodie, who’s allowing me to give you all the chance to win the two pairs for yourself too!
Now, as I previously mentioned the kind of lashes I look for are wispy and natural-esque looking. I’m not a fan of ones that are so fluffy that you’re unable to see your actual eyeshadow look – if you know what I mean.
I ended up choosing lashes from the Peaches and Cream collection. They’re made from human hair and synthetic fibres, meaning they’re cruelty-free and vegan! Best part of it all, is that the two pairs I picked are super affordable with one pair being under £5 – now that’s amazing.
The first ones I went for were the No.9’s. (£4.50, FalseEyelashes.co.uk).
They’re long, wispy and add length and texture to the lash whilst keeping your overall look natural.
I’ve worn these about 4 times so far, with the first time being for my ‘I followed a Jamie Genevive tutorial’ video – which is coming soon.
I was absolutely blown away by the look of them and they were so easy to apply!
Although the lashes don’t come with glue, it can be purchased from the website, I used my trusty duo glue and the lashbands on these are super fine.
I’ve been able to wear them with eyeliner and without. There’s nothing noticeable about them being false if you get them close enough to the lash – if anything they look like amazing eyelash extensions!
These are definitely an amazing pair to wear for a dinner date, a fun day out, holiday, basically anything and providing you clean them after each wear with something such as micellar water on a cotton bud – you’ll be able to wear them until they break!
The second pair that I chose was the No.19’s (£6.50, FalseEyelashes.co.uk).
These are lightweight, super long and don’t give too much volume to the lashes, giving your eyes a super fluttery finish.
I wore these for the first time when going to a birthday party and I was super brave, deciding to not wear eyeliner. Thanks to the super thin lash band, it was so easy to get these close to the lashes and not have them look too noticeable. Compared to the No.9’s, these are definitely more for your super glam, going out, night time looks. But remain wispy and not too much for the eyes.
Since trying these lashes, I’ve found myself reaching to put them on for any occasion I go out. I even put them on just for going the cinemas the other day! I’ve been so blown away by the quality, styles and affordability of these lashes that I’m definitely going to try more out! To see the whole range of Peaches and Cream lashes, please click here.
