My February Favourites – Makeup, Beauty and Teabags?

This year I’m going completely out of my comfort zone and reaching out to my audience a lot more to make this blog as amazing as it can possibly be. For a long time, followers have been like ‘oh I wish you made videos’ and honestly, it scares the living daylights out of me.

In my recent post I Followed A Jamie Genevieve Tutorial, I took the leap and did my first ‘proper’ YouTube video. If you go on my channel, there are a couple of videos on there but nothing that I really consider ‘good content’. After doing it, I felt a bit of a buzz and although it’s not gone viral, I know that just like it did with my blog – the viewers will come and the hard work, as it always does, will pay off.

To continue my transition into doing more videos – I’m hoping to do one a week – I filmed a February favourites. This was a great way for me to get into the swing of things as well as easy to do, as I’m simply talking about the things I love. So without further ado – here’s my video.

    1. I personally am obsessed with the NYX butter glosses – they’re super pretty, loads of shades, not sticky and affordable! X

  3. Gratz on your video. I really want to do it but terrified of making an idiot of myself & I’ve no clue how to do it. How did you make yours? What equipment, software, etc did you use? Did you prepare a script & the space? Sorry for all the questions I’m just fascinated by people who do this & think How?

    1. Hey! I don’t mind all the questions don’t worry.
I’ve literally just used my iPhone to film with a ring light and didn’t script anything – just got my favourites together and went ahead and filmed it.

I then used my iPad with Cute Cut Pro to edit everything together and write my text into the frames.

      Hope this helps! X
