I got my hands on the amazing Jeffree Star Thirsty palette a couple of days ago and I am shook. The pigmentation, colours and texture of the shadows are just like nothing I’ve owned before. I can’t wait to start creating so many different looks with the palette and you can bet that all the looks I do create will be right here on the blog.

I’ve been dying to try out the metallic shadows in the palette so my first look isn’t too out there in terms of colours, but it’s definitely a show stopper none the less. To top off the look and tie everything in together, I even used one of the peachy shadows as a blush! This palette is so versatile without people even realising (hint: Subtle would be a great contour shade I reckon).

So without further ado, here’s my look…

Child’s Farm Baby Moisturiser (£3.99, Boots) as a primer
MAC Face & Body Studio Foundation in C3 (£30, MAC Cosmetics)
Applied with the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (£5.99, Superdrug)
Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer in C8 (£4, Superdrug)
Applied with the same sponge to any blemishes and under the eyes
Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder (£5, Superdrug) to set under the eyes with the same sponge

E Y E S
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty Palette (£45, Beauty Bay)
Taking the shade Parched – a cream matte shadow – all over the lid
Applied with the fluffy brush from the Storybook Cosmetics Wand Collection (£40, Beauty Bay)
On the same brush, taking Kumquat – a terracotta matte brown shade – into the crease
To define the outer corner further and smoke out the lower lash line, taking the shade Stroke – a deep warm toned matte shadow
Applied with the pencil brush from the Models Own On The Go Collection (£14.99, Models Own)
To make the centre of the eye pop, I took the shade Lick – a metallic bronze gold shadow – in a sort of halo effect
Applied with the flat shader brush from the Storybook Cosmetics Wand Collection, linked above
To highlight the inner corner, I finally took the shade Filthy Rich – a metallic champagne gold
Applied with the Storybook Cosmetics Wand Collection pencil brush
L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Waterproof Mascara (£7.99, Superdrug) to both upper and lower lashes

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Perfect Brow palette (£7, Feel Unique) – a mixture of all three shades to define the brow
