Quench Your Thirst – Blue Eyeshadow Tutorial

As soon as I caught a glimpse of the Jeffree Star Thirsty eyeshadow palette, the blue and green shades called out to me. It’s not the kind of colours that I personally, or many others I know, reach for – but I think this summer it’s all about colour and doing what the hell you want!

Honestly, I think the green shade, splash is my ultimate dreamy shade – I think it would look great on a feature wall and in this case, today’s feature wall is my eyes. To make the eyes a bit more dimensional and give them the glam rather than ‘thirteen’ year old makeup feel, I added the shade Divine onto the inner corner and centre portion of the eye. My goodness, it makes the shades really pop.

I think the technique itself is a great way to wear colour on the eyes, without keeping it to just the lower lash line or the inner corner – something we see all too often. It’s all about experimentation and honestly, I’m all about that at the moment.

If you’ve recently created any colourful eyeshadow looks, I’d love you to link your posts below so I’m able to take a peek!

  1. I LOVE this look- it’s very ABBA-esque but I still think it looks perfect for this day and age, and particularly this summer! I will have to try it out 🙂
