The ‘I’m Not Sick’ Makeup Look

There’s nothing worse that being ill. Not only do you feel under the weather, your immune system also takes it out on your skin and honestly, that’s just not fair. When you’re feeling tired, grumpy and basically like shit, all you want to do is crawl into your pj’s.. but no, work awaits (or school).

This was me almost two weeks ago now. I’m never so ill that I don’t go into work and it’s the first time I’ve pretty much been forced home because of how unwell I was. Turns out it was a really nasty chest infection and after a course of antibiotics, plenty of sleep and water, I’m back to normal. This is also why I’ve been a bit M.I.A. The strangest thing about it all though is that I’ve gone of cups of tea! Anyway, I digress…

This makeup is what I wore for the days I did go into work and felt like total crap. It takes about 6 minutes and uses the least amount of product possible, whilst making you look like you’re actually okay. I’m not wishing sickness of any of you, but this is a great option to have in case you are.

  1. It’s so funny how I’m reading this today as I myself have the flu and can’t be asked going out. You look great and I hope you get well soon! xx

  2. Feel better, love! I like how quick and easy this look is, and it definitely makes you look very put together. Not to mention, no one asks you “are you okay?” every five minutes!
    Great post!
