Eye Eye

I’m always inspired by the posts you see on Instagram of someone who’s just gone over the top with their eyeshadow. It’s nothing that they’d ever put on for a weekday, or even night out glam, it’s simply just art and I’m living for it.

Any of you who follow me know that I’m not the kind of girl that tends to do these looks, so please forgive the imperfect lines or the slightly messy ‘cut crease’. I’m new to this extravagant world okay?!

I really wanted to create a block colour look and what better palette to use than the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty palette (£45, Beauty Bay). I mainly used the shades Biiitch! and Splash to create this look and I’m really happy with how it’s turned out.

I hope to create more ‘out there’ looks in the future and as they say, practice makes perfect, so we’ll see where I’m at in a few months time. I’m only going to post the products I used to create this look below, as honestly – I don’t feel like it’s a tutorial worthy look. If you’d prefer to know the ins and outs of how it was created, please let me know and I’ll make sure I do that next time.

MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre (£16.50, MAC Cosmetics)
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty palette (£45, Beauty Bay)
Shades: Parched, Biiitch!, Stroke, Quench, Splash, Divine and Drizzle
NYX Liquid Vinyl Liner (£8, Boots)
Maybelline Master Drama Eyeliner (£4.99, Boots)
Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara in Waterproof Black (£8.99, Boots)
Pinky Goat Lashes in Al Maha (£9.99, falseeyelashes.co.uk)

Love, always.
