Quince
– Vitamin C: for the immune system and skin health
– Thiamine: helps to convert food into energy
– Vitamin B6: regulates emotions (serotonin, dopamine and GABA)
– Copper: allows the body to maintain healthy bones, blood vessels, nerves and immune function
– Iron: necessary for the transport of oxygen in the red blood cells
– Potassium: regulates blood pressure and helps prevent bloating
– Magnesium: needed to help maintain normal nerve and muscle function
These aren’t be be eaten raw, it’s best for them to be turned into jam and apparently, they’re kinda like pears

Nuts, grains and legumes.

Quinoa
– Manganese: an essential vitamin for the functioning of your brain and nervous system
– Phosphorus: helps to maintain normal acid balance, supports growth and aids calcium to develop healthy bones and teeth
– Copper
– Iron
– Folate: for cell function and tissue growth
– Magnesium
– Zinc: great for the immune system
I like using quinoa in place of rice or as part of a salad. It’s especially nice mixed with beans
