I had a recent commission from the lovely Bex. She’s been in touch a few times over the last month or two to ask for a piece of work. She really wanted one of her dog with both her and her partner but I’m not 100% confident drawing people just yet, but of course I wanted to draw her dog!
Handsome.
The reference pictures for Raphael were perfect! He has the perfect face and his black coat is just so so shiny and smooth. I knew straight away that this was the reference image I wanted to use.
The final piece.
It’s so easy to draw a dog when they’re so handsome and drawing Raphael was an absolute pleasure. I always document the process of my illustrations in instagram, so I’d definitely recommend following me on there if you like to see the process.
