Today it’s my husband’s birthday and I really wanted to create something a little bit different for him. What better way to do this than illustrate one of our favourite photos from when we were on our honeymoon! The picture just sums up what an amazing time we had. On this day we woke up at 4am to go on a hot air balloon safari over the masai mara and when we landed, we were driven to the middle of the reserve to have a champagne breakfast. It sounds unreal and oh my god it was!

The champagne was bottomless and when I say we drank a bottle or two each, I ain’t joking.

Memories.

For his birthday card I created the portrait of the picture where we were in the middle of the reserve with a champagne bottle in hand, having the best damn time! I thought that once it’s done sitting on the shelf with my lovely birthday message inside it can be framed to remind us of that special day together.

I do wedding portraits on my Etsy store, but of course this can be purchased just as a ‘couple’s portrait’ for something such as a special memory both you and your loved one cherish. The portrait is digital only but it can of course be printed via a company of the likes of a canvas or print.
