So I went into Boots.. Another Haul

I need to stop spending like I have no responsibilities. It’s not even half way through the month. I must calm down.

So I went into town for some dry shampoo and decided I should get a back-up mascara as mine is starting to dry out, then I noticed that Revlon was on 3 for 2, and then I decided I needed a khaki eyeshadow. Reasonable explanation yes?

Anyway, here’s what I purchased..

Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara, (£9.99, Boots)
I’m currently using the All-in-One from this range and it’s pretty darn good, however I don’t feel like I get enough volume from it, so thought I’d give this one a go. I’m excited to see if it work wonders.

Revlon Colourstay Foundation Normal/Dry Skin in True Beige, (£12.99, Boots)
I’ve always heard a lot of good things about this foundation. I’m not one for a full coverage but thought it would be good to mix in with my sheer foundations such as MAC Studio Face & Body, to add coverage where I need it. It will also be a good one to use if I do have an evening event and want to go full glam. I hope it has good staying power! Any top tips on ways to wear it best would be much appreciated.

Revlon Highlighting Palette in Peach Glow, (£9.99, Boots)
Now, we all know I love a good highlighter! (See Glow All Out! here) And this looks like it will great to put over bronzer to give a gorgeous glow, and I’m also very tempted to try using it as a warm blush! This is definitely one of those products which is going to be used next time I apply my make up.

Natural Collection Eyeshadow in Moss Shimmer, (£1.99, Boots)
I’m loving khaki recently. I’ve incorporated a lot of khaki items into my wardrobe recently and the other day I decided that it would be a great way to add a bit of colour into my eye looks without it being too extreme. So I went to do a khaki eye only to find I do not own a khaki eyeshadow. Whilst I was already buying things I didn’t need I decided to look for one. Literally no stands have khaki eyeshadow, Revlon did but it was a bit too green for what I wanted. So I bought this one, it’s a gorgeous khaki green with gold running through it and it’s surprisingly pigmented considering the price! I can’t wait to do a smokey eye using this soon.
