Glitter Glam – My New Years Eve Makeup

New year celebrations call for glittery eyes, flawless skin and tonnes of lashes.

Base
Milani 2 in 1 Perfect and Conceal in Warm Beige (£11, Beauty Bay)
L.A. Girl Pro. Conceal in Natural under eyes and through centre of face and Toast to contour (£5 each, Beauty Bay)
RCMA Over-Powder in Warm Gold (£15.50, Beauty Bay)
Foundation and concealer applied with Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (£5.99, Boots). RCMA powder applied heavily under-eye using tapered end of the sponge.
L.A. Girl Pro Face Powder in Creamy Natural all over face and Toffee around perimeters to bronze (£6, Beauty Bay)
Applied using unbranded Duo-Fibre Brush.

Brows
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Medium Brown (£15, Beauty Bay)
Using Brow Brush from Zoeva classic eye set – see eyes section.

Eyes
MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre (£16, MAC Cosmetics), applied all over eye and upto brow bone with fingers.
Stila Eyes are the Window Palette – Spirit (£30, Beauty Bay)
Chinois applied all over lid using Zoeva Soft Definer brush – see below for link. Then taking Puppy and Makeup Geek’s Chickadee (£6, Beauty Bay) on Storybook Cosmetics fluffy blush and blending into the crease. To deepen the crease further I then took Morphe’s Spice (£2.35, Cocktail Cosmetics) and Makeup Geek’s Tiki Hut (£6, Beauty Bay) on the Zoeva soft definer.
To clean up the lid and create the cut crease I took Soft Ochre on an Urban Decay eyeshadow brush (came with the Naked Palette) to define the shape.
Then taking NYX Glitter Glue (£8, Boots) I patted it over the lids before taking the sponge applicator from the Morphe Brushes 12 piece set (£12.50, Beauty Bay) and building up the gold and champagne glitters (There is no Such Thing as Too Much Glitter – At Least That’s What I’m Telling Myself – Haul).
Once the effect I wanted was there I took Pigalle from the Stila palette and deepened the outer corner and crease also taking this under the eyes alongside Chickadee and Spice, using the smudger brush from the Storybook Cosmetics set.
Taking Kitten and Chinois on the pencil brush from Storybook Cosmetics to highlight the inner corner and under the brow bone.
Eyeshadow brushes from the Zoeva Classic Eye Collection (£38, Beauty Bay).
MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack (£16, MAC Cosmetics) to create a winged liner and lower water line.
Velour Doll Me Up Lashes (£23, Beauty Bay)
Ardell Duo Lash Adhesive in Clear (£7.95, Beauty Bay)

Face
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Give Me Sun (£24, MAC Cosmetics)
Applied with Models Own Blush Brush from 5 piece set, (£9.99, Boots).
Sleek Shimmer Blush in Suede (£4.99, Superdrug)
Applied with Real Techniques Blush Brush (£9.99, Boots).
The Balm Mary Lou-luminizer (£17.50, ASOS – With Free Gift)
Applied using fan brush from Morphe Brush 12 piece set (£12.50, Beauty Bay).

Lips
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Mannequin (£16, Beauty Bay)

Setting Spray
Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day in Jasmine (£14.50, Beauty Bay)
