PurOrganica Skincare – Is it any Good?

I’m always on the hunt for great skincare. My skin recently hasn’t know whether it wants to be dry, oily, spotty or clear and quite frankly, it’s doing my head in.

In an aid to correct my skin I researched into products to help with all of these things and decided to try out a drying lotion and vitamin c serum. I did consider getting Mario Badescu, but as I’ve been trying to spend as little as possible. I turned to google once more and came across the brand PurOrganica on Amazon.

There were great reviews on Amazon of their range so I had no hesitations against going ahead and purchasing these items from them.

A little bit about PurOrganica… the products are made in the USA. They’re nasties free, cruelty free and created in FDA registered eco-labs.

So as mentioned I purchased the PurOrganica Vitamin C serum (Amazon.co.uk). This serum not only contains high quality high content Vitamin C which is great for anti-ageing, it also contains hyaluronic acid. This acid is ideal for giving the face hydration and making it ‘glow’.

The other purchase I made was the PurOrganica Skin Clearing Treatment (Amazon.com). This is a powerful and effective drying solution which works fast. It’s great for pimples, blackheads, whiteheads or simply blemishes on the skin. The combination of Niacinamide, MSM, Sallicylic Acid and Bentonite Clay make it easy to combat your problem areas.

So I’ve been trying both of these products for a couple of months now to create a good idea of how I like them.

The Vitamin C serum is great. I can definitely see a difference in the brightness of my skin and it sinks into the skin beautifully leaving no residue behind. I will admit it doesn’t smell the nicest but the scent isn’t long lasting and as I put it on as my first step before oils and moisturiser, it really isn’t a big issue. I use about 2-3 drops as the first step in my night time skincare routine.

Would I recommend this? Yes. If you’re after some youthful brightness to your skin along with some moisture, be it for oily or dry skin, I would definitely consider adding this or another Vitamin C serum to your line up.

The Skin Clearing Treatment is a god send. Whenever I have a spot brewing or simply a stubborn blemish. I take a cotton bud and dip it into the bottom of the container where the clay you need lives. I then apply this clay to the areas,. usually after I’ve completed my complete skincare regime at night. The clay will dry on the areas applied leaving a white coating over them. You then simply leave it to do its magic overnight, and that it does. I’m not going to say it’s a miracle product and it gets rid of everything. But it definitely reduces redness and stops those spots that are about to come out from doing so.

Would I recommend this? Yes. As I’m sure you can tell from my comments.  It’s definitely a perfect product for anyone for when you get a pesky unexpected breakout. Although I am intrigued to use the Mario Badescu drying lotion to compare the effectiveness.

As I’m not currently able to spend lots of money, I’m trying to make these products last me as long as possible. If you know of any similar products for a more affordable price I’d love to know.

Love, always.

  1. Hi Becca!

I swear by a skin care line call Serious Skincare. It’s sold on hsn.com and has products for every problem your skin may have, including a whole line for acne. I highly suggest these products, and since they sell kits, it’s more affordable. I wouldn’t use anything else. You can find their dry-lo on Amazon or ebay cheaper as well.

    Good luck!
