Everyone Needs a Nude Attitude

It goes without saying, a nude lipstick is something that everyone needs. The problem is, finding the right nude – one that isn’t too pink, brown or light – is a very hard task. Especially as everyone has different undertones to their skin. However, I believe I’ve found a lipstick that will go perfectly for most.. providing that a suitable lip liner is used alongside it.

I’m talking about no other than Revlon Matte Lipstick in Nude Attitude (£7.99, Superdrug).

These matte lipsticks are rich in colour with a suede-like feel which isn’t drying, cakey or flakey. Nude attitude is a light nude with a peachy undertone – that isn’t too peach.

It glides onto the lips so smoothly that you’d almost think it wouldn’t be a matte finish lipstick. Within just a couple of swipes you have a truly opaque colour and when they say it’s a nude lipstick, it really is.

As stated in the intro, it’s perfect when paired with a lip liner to compliment your skintone. It’s a really pale nude, however, when paired with a great lipliner, be it pink, brown or peachy – whichever shade best suits your skintone – it’ll bring that amazing nude lip to whatever look you’ve gone for that day.

As I’m pretty fair-skinned, I’m able to just about get away with it on it’s own but I also love pairing it with the L’Oreal Parfait Lip Liner in Simply Rose (£7.49, Amazon UK). For me personally, a pinky nude is my favourite kind and this gives it the perfect hint of pink. When applying it with a lip liner, it also allows you to create an ombre lip – which essentially makes your lips look much bigger than they actually are.

Overall, if you’re an avid nude lip lover – this is definitely one to add to your collection.

      Honestly there’s not much too it, a good camera and good lighting is all you need.
      I use the iPhone X and if I need to brighten a photo up to make it clearer I just use the Lightroom app x
