I Followed A Jamie Genevieve Tutorial

I’ve been absolutely loving this tag that’s been going around YouTube for the past couple of weeks and whoever came up with it, is a genius.

So I decided to give it a go myself, purely to see if my makeup game can improve by genuinely following one of my favourite YouTuber’s tutorials and WOW. I’m so happy and impressed with how the look turned out.

Jamie Genevieve has always been one of my favourites because she has a grungy, smoky eyed vibe that I will forever endeavour to master. The tutorial I followed is the Grungy Autumn Glam video – where she does a glittery winged liner smoky eye with a pop of colour added. I loved the fact it’s a little different to what I’d normally gravitate towards, but still a look I would genuinely wear.

As I didn’t have any of the products Jamie used, I substituted them for things in my collection and it just goes to show that providing you have similar tones or use products such as foundation that work for you, you really can recreate any tutorial.

I hope you enjoy me following her tutorial and all products are linked both below and within the video description, let me know how you think I did!

    1. Thanks so much! I had so much fun following someone’s tutorial.
I’m constantly watching YouTube but never really use them as a guide – it worked out pretty well though so I’ll definitely try more x
