Natural World Brazilian Keratin Range

I’ve been a big fan of the Natural World shampoo and conditioners since discovering them by chance in Tesco a couple of years back. They’re massive bottles of product at an affordable price and they’re free from parabens, phosphates, phthalates, dyes and gluten.

Since I started using them, I’ve noticed a real change in my hair. It feels healthier, thicker and it even started to grow past the point where you think it’ll never grow past. Due to this, I’ve stuck to natural shampoos and you can see some more information about my hair care routine in these posts;

When Natural World got in touch to ask if I’d like to try out their Brazilian Keratin Smoothing Range, I nearly bit off their arm. First off, I couldn’t believe they’d contacted me and second off, I bloody love the brand.

When the product arrived a few weeks back I couldn’t wait to try them out and I was lucky enough to receive the Brazilian Keratin Smoothing Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner (500ml) alongside the Hair Treatment Oil (100ml) from the same range.

These products are all blended with Keratin and 4 Essential Oils (Rosemary, Lemongrass, Orange and Ylang Ylang) to gently cleanse hair, whilst smoothing and repairing heat damaged hair. As I no longer colour my hair, the main source of damage it’s getting is from the straightners. It’s also important to note, that the hair protectant spray I use it also enriched with Keratin.

Keratin itself is the main protein bonds of hair. These can become damaged through heat appliances and causes the hair to appear dry, dull and damaged. The products that I’ve been sent contain keratin to help treat targeted areas of the hair to repair damage. Keratin also controls frizz along with adding smoothness and shine.

After using these products for a couple of weeks, I’ve really noticed a difference in the texture of my hair. I have naturally kinky hair (not straight but not wavy) and it sometimes can look a little frizzy if I leave it to air dry – which is 90% of the time. When I’ve left my hair to air dry after using these products I notice that the kink has a lot more definition to it and the overall look of my hair is a lot more sleek.

Not only that, but I’ve also noticed my hair seems to brush through more easily. I’m not sure if this is due to the oil – as it’s not a product I really put on my hair after washing it – but it’s definitely making the Tangle Teezers job a hell of a lot easier.

Although no product’s going to get rid of those pesky split ends, thanks to this product range I can definitely say that due to the Keratin making my hair look sleeker, in turn, it looks a lot healthier than it did before.

I’m really loving using these products and they’ll be perfect for when I go on holiday later in the year to help combat the damage the sun, sea and chemicals in the water can do to your hair.

If you’re in the market for a smoothing, natural shampoo – I really couldn’t recommend this brand enough and what’s more, the products retail from just £5 in your local Tesco. (Natural World products at Tesco)

If you’re looking for more information on Natural World products, as maybe this range doesn’t sound suitable for your hair, they do so many amazing items. I also love the Chia Seed Oil range that targets the volume and shine of your hair. For the full range, head over to their website: www.natural-world.com

I’ve got my eye on the Coconut Water range next, which one do you think you’d like to try? I’d love to know!

Love, always.
