How To Get The Victoria’s Secret Glow

Every single year when the Victoria Secret Fashion Show comes along, all I can dream about is pink toned, glowy makeup. It’s natural, glam and girly – all at the same time. After seeing the recent New York show, I decided to recreate the look for all of you guys, with products that you probably already have – including an old holy grail for everyone, the Urban Decay Naked palette (£39.50, Urban Decay).

I think this look is perfect for literally any occasion, be it day to day makeup, a date, a night out or simply for work – it goes with any outfit and really makes your natural beauty shine through. The key elements of this look are glowy skin, shimmery eyes and a juicy lip. So if you take those three things and make the colours into something you better suit, you’ll still look like one of those famous angels – if only we all had the million dollar bra right?

Childs Farm Grapefruit & Tea Tree Moisturiser (£4.49, Superdrug) to moisturise the face and prepare it for that glowy look
MAC Strobe Cream in Pink Light (£25, MAC Cosmetics) to prime the face with the ultimate dewy look
MAC Face & Body Studio Foundation in C3 (£30, MAC Cosmetics)
Applied as a foundation base with the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (£5.99, Superdrug)
L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in Natural (£5, Beauty Bay)
Applied with the same sponge to highlight the highpoints of the face, as well as conceal any blemishes
Rosie for Autograph Cream Blush in Camisole (£14, Marks and Spencers)
Applied to the apple of the cheeks and then blended in with the same Real Techniques sponge
RCMA Translucent Powder (£13, Beauty Bay)
Applied to set all the cream products into place with the Zoeva Face Focus brush (£13, Beauty Bay)

Naked Eyeshadow Palette (£39.50, Urban Decay)
Taking the shade Virgin – a white satin shade – all over the lid and upto the brow
Applied with the fluffy brush from the Storybook Cosmetics Wand Collection Set ($50, Storybook Cosmetics)
To add some of that classic pink toned Victoria Secret shimmer, I took the shade Sin – a pink toned shimmer – all over the lid
Applied with the Spectrum AO7 brush (£4.99, Spectrum)
For the outer corners and crease, I took the shade Toasted – a brown toned pink shimmer shade
This was applied with the Zoeva Soft Definer (£9, Beauty Bay)
With the same brush, to add definition into the inner crease of the eye, I took the shade Buck – a mid toned brown matte
To highlight the inner corner, I took the shade Virgin again and this was applied with the pencil brush from the Storybook Cosmetics Wand Collection Set ($50, Storybook Cosmetics)
To add that subtle definition to the lash line, I took the shade Creep – a shimmer black shade
Applied to the upper lash line with the Zoeva Fine Liner brush (£8, Beauty Bay)
To further define the lash line, I took MAC Eye Kohl in Smoulder (£15, MAC Cosmetics) into the upper waterline
For the lashes, I took the L’Oreal Paradise mascara in Waterproof Black (£11.99, Superdrug) onto both upper and lower lashes

Tanya Burr Perfect Brow palette (£7, Feel Unique)
Taking a mix of the brow shades to make the perfect match and then applying with the Zoeva Brow Line brush (£8, Beauty Bay)

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Give Me Sun (£25.50, MAC Cosmetics)
Applied around the perimeters of the face to bronze with the New CID Cosmetics Chrome Powder brush (£31.50, New CID Cosmetics)
Zoeva Pink Spectrum blush palette (£15, Beauty Bay)
Applying the shade PK010 to the apples of the cheeks with the Real Techniques Blush brush (£9.99, Superdrug)
New CID Cosmetics i-Glow in Sirocco (£27.50, New CID Cosmetics)
Applied as a highlight to the cheeks, nose and cupids bow with the L.A. Girl Fan brush (£6, Beauty Bay)

Rimmel Lipliner in You’re All Mine (£3.95, Amazon) all over the lips
Rosie for Autograph Lipstick in Lady Rose (£14, Marks and Spencer)

Love, always.
