There’s so much makeup around these days that I personally find that I’ll buy stuff from the shops without even thinking – do I already have something like this? 90% of the time, yes. Yes I do. For this makeup look I decided to use some of my old favourites and products that I rarely use now, as I always reach for the newer stuff.

It really is a shame that I do this and I’m sure most of you do too. So, I rocked out my first ever MAC lipstick Angel. It’s not really a shade that I tend to reach for, mainly because it’s a frost finish, but my goodness – it’s so beautiful, especially when it’s paired with a gorgeous brown nude liner like I did here.

I also decided to get out my liquid liner, something I haven’t used in a while and I’ve started using more and more in recent weeks. I think I go through phases with liner where I either wear it, do a eyeshadow liner or just wear none at all. Recently I’ve been loving it and I forgot how much this NYX Vinyl Liquid Liner lasts throughout the day!

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre (£16.50, MAC Cosmetics)
Applied with fingers all over the eyelid, upto the brows and also under the eye
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty eyeshadow palette (£45, Beauty Bay)
Taking the shade Parched (a matte cream shadow) all over the eyes to set the paint pot
Using the Pro Tapered Fluffy Blending brush from the Unicorn Cosmetics Class of ’86 Brush set (£25, Beauty Bay)
Then taking the shade Subtle (a matte soft brown shade) with the same shade into the crease
With the Pro Detailer brush from the same Unicorn Cosmetics collection, taking the shade Divine (a super metallic silver shade) into the inner corner
Then on the Pro Petite Crease brush taking a mixture of the shades Subtle and Stroke (a warm red toned brown shade) under the eyes
To define the lash line even more, I took the shade Drizzle (a dark matte brown) closer to the lower lashes with the same brush
