As I’m sure you know I do a lot of pet commissions and I try to make them as realistic as possible but still with a cartoon edge. After being inspired by so many different artists on Instagram and beyond, I wanted to try a more simple ‘vector’ style. What better model to try than my baby Cooper? He’s a mixed bag of so many different breeds, so there’s no dog quite like him.

I really love how this image turned out and I’m thinking of doing some common breeds such as spaniels, pugs, labradors etc and these would be available as prints in my Etsy store. This would be either alone or if needed, a name could be added to the top. I thought this would be a cheaper option for those who maybe want some inspiration for Christmas presents, making my art accessible to all is something that’s super important to me. It’ll also allow me to get more orders out for those who may miss out on custom commissions.

What I want to know is a few breeds that you think would sell well, maybe you know a few people with the same breed of dog and I’d love to know what you think would sell on it’s own too! Hopefully, they’ll be coming to my store soon!
