Perfect for Summer – Lime Crime Velvetine – Bleached – Review and Swatches

Bleached is a member of the Lime Crime Velvetine family. Now if you haven’t heard or seen velvetines before, I’m going to just tell you right now. They are AMAZING. They are a matte comfortable liquid lipstick that is transfer proof as well as being extremely long lasting. Like seriously, what more could a girl ask for?

Recently I’ve purchased quite a few so keep your eyes peeled for more blog posts showcasing the amazing colours which are available in this range. There is nothing quite like them. Lime Crime Cashmere can be seen in all it’s glory on this post.

As it’s coming up to summer I fancied getting some brighter colours and what better place to start than with a peachy nude Bleached (£13.95, Love Makeup). Perfect against bronzed skin in the summer. And can I just say, look at them swatches, it is absolutely GORGEOUS.These lip products not only apply amazingly smoothly they are also delicious to smell, you almost want to lick your lips and eat them off – technically they are cruelty-free and vegan so you probably could but I wouldn’t suggest it. They go on opaque with one layer and the product itself is thin so it feels lightweight on the lips.

It takes less than a minute for the product to matte down and once it has that’s it, you are finished for the day. That lip is staying there all day long I can assure you, and if you keep away from any oily foods you won’t need to reapply throughout the day at all! They truly are amazing.

The applicator is also great as well it’s thin enough to allow you to over line and change the shape of your lips without the need for a lip liner. As a girl who’s forever trying to find lip liners to match lipsticks this is great as it means you can just use the same product.

Overall I can’t rave enough about these product and I can’t wait to show you the other two colours which I’ve recently purchased as well.
