The Best Christmas Reds

It’s now November which means Christmas is officially around the corner and party season is upon us!

For me, there’s no other option that a festive red lip to partner up with any festive look and today I’m going to share with you my top 3 favourite red lipsticks for this holiday season.

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Redrum (£16, Beauty Bay)

There’s nothing a girl wants more than a red lip that will stay on all day and here ladies is the answer.

I love Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks, not only are they comfortable on the lips, easy to apply and highly pigmented, they will stay put until you go to take it off at the end of the night.

Redrum is the perfect cool-toned red that screams Hollywood glamour.

It’s a gorgeous tone that’s able to be paired with glam looks or a natural face – which to be honest goes for most reds.

This is one of my newest red additions to my collection and I can’t wait to wear it throughout the colder months.

Cailyn Pure Lust Lipstick in Apple Pear Smoothie (£5.10, Beauty Bay)

Now, if it’s a warm toned red that you’re into – maybe one with a hint of orange – this lip crayon is absolutely perfect for you.

It’s matte in finish, feels creamy on the lips and smells absolutely delicious.

Much like the Jeffree Star it’s extremely long wearing – especially considering it’s not a liquid lip consistency and it doesn’t dry your lips out throughout the day.

This colour is perfect for those of you who love to wear warm golds and a super bronzey look as it’ll really pop against those tones.

Lime Crime Velvetine in Riot (£14.95, Love Makeup)

I’m aware this isn’t a true red, if anything it’s a brown-red, but that doesn’t make it any less festive.

This is a perfect everyday, going shopping or out to lunch red-toned lip to wear.

It’s another liquid lipstick that goes on perfectly matte, smooth and highly pigmented.

I’ll be perfectly honest, I do find Lime Crime Velvetines to be drying and they do start to crack after a few hours of wear – but they’re perfect for those 3-4 hours nipping out looks.

I especially love this colour paired with a cosy jumper and winged liner.

I’d love to know what you’re favourite reds are for Christmas – and be warned, my ultimate Christmas red is getting it’s own dedicated post very, very soon – so be sure to stay tuned.

Love, always.
