I’m guilty of thinking about the bad stuff all the time. Whether it’s what’s going on in my own life, with those close to me or just the world in general. I think quite recently, everywhere you look has been full of all the bad things that are happening. Whether it’s how many people have been hurt at protests, how many people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or just general bad news stories.
What about the good that’s come from the protests or the advancements we have with science to create a vaccine for COVID-19. Those are the stories we should be focusing on and putting our energy too.
Now don’t me wrong, I’m not saying that we shouldn’t think about those who’ve been hurt or those that are suffering with illness, as that’s extremely important, but we also need to have the same amount of coverage for the good that’s coming from these things. Basically, what I’m saying is that the energy we give to the bad stuff should also be the energy we give to the good stuff.
The good shouldn’t be put aside because of the bad. The good stuff is what’s going to make the biggest change in the long run and hopefully stop further people being diagnosed with COVID-19 and it’ll stop further people being hurt in protests, for those fighting for their rights and fighting against the injustice that’s provided for black people. Not just in America, but all over the world. This is so so important and I highly advise that if you’re reading this, you start to educate yourself on how we can help, no matter where we live ensure that black people are provided with the same justice, care and respect in this world.
The moral of this story is simple: by putting your energy into the good, more things will come of it and hopefully whatever you’re focusing on will change yourself, the world or maybe something else for the better.
I’d really appreciate if you’re able to share links to help the black lives matter movement below. This will help anyone reading, along with myself, to educate themselves and see what they’re able to do to help. Any comments that do not educate us for the right reason, or are against this movement will be deleted. I do not condone anyone that believes this doesn’t need our full attention.
