Cherry Red Lips

When it comes to this time of year (dare me say, the Christmas months) I live in red lipsticks of all kinds. Be it bright red, orange red, vampy red or deep red. Earlier this year when Jeffree Star bought out his Thirsty collection, I fell in love with the shade Cherry Wet – a gorgeous pink toned red, unlike anything I already have in my collection.

Now don’t get me wrong, this shade is absolutely gorgeous in the summer with bronzed skin and lashes. It really makes a statement! As with most of the shades I own, I like to make them work for all year round.

So now that it is colder, I decided to put the summer and winter together – using a bronzey toned skin with a winged liner and a blush that makes me look like I’ve been out in the cold.

The base of this look itself would be perfect with almost any lip shade, it’d look really natural if you just popped a hint of lip balm on too! I hope you enjoy the post and I’d love to know your favourite red to wear in these colder months – so let me know in the comments.

RCMA Translucent Powder (£13, Beauty Bay)
Applied to mattify the face where needed using the Zoeva Face Focus brush (£13, Beauty Bay)

      2. I find the Jeffree Star lipsticks have amazing staying power, even when eating and drinking. The best I’ve tried so far – as well as the Bourjois velvet lipsticks. They’ve got great stayability x

  9. I can’t be without my red lippie and Jeffree Star’s my favorite formula. Her “Redrum” is my classic and when “Cherry Wet” came out, I immediately fell in love with it. 😊 It looks gorgeous on you.
