Following on from my last wedding portrait post: Adam & Laura, Dexi also got in touch asking if I would draw a picture from her wedding. What I loved is that Dexi’s photographer was the same one I had at my wedding, so I knew the picture she’d send me would be a little quirky and I absolutely loved it. That photographer is Adam Lowndes and he is just so great. If you’re getting married, I’d definitely recommend him!

What I loved about the photo Dexi sent me of her and her husband was not only the movement of her dress but also her bright blue converse. When I drew this, I absolutely love how much they pop against the white of her wedding dress, they really set the photo off.

Final piece.

Wedding portraits are such a joy to draw, as they capture the happiest of moments. They’re also so beautiful and I love how different every couple’s photos are.
