Honestly, I’ll always pick chocolate over chewy sweets but sometimes a good old chew bar is just what you need and when I got these Swizzels Great British Puds in my The Vegan Kind box, I was thrilled. I’d heard a lot of people rave about them and the flavours sounded divine, so I couldn’t wait to tuck in!

So what flavours do you get?

Lemon meringue pie: a citrus chew with a hint of creaminess
Rhubarb crumble: a tart yet ‘warm’ (if this makes sense) tasting chew
Apple pie with custard: cinnamon apple tasting chew with a creaminess from the custard
Sticky toffee pudding: pretty much what it says, a toffee chew

Are they good?

I’m going to lie, I think these were so hyped up that by the time I actually got my hands on them they weren’t as amazing as I wanted them to be. Now don’t get me wrong, they’re still delicious, they’re just not something I think I would buy again myself. This isn’t to say I wouldn’t take one if offered, cause I bloody would! I just wish the flavours of the chews were a little stronger.

If I had to order them I’d say my favourite was the rhubarb one, followed by apple pie then lemon meringue and finally toffee. You can pick these up at most supermarkets and they’re around £1.50 for the whole bag!
